I can't get the game to load. After it loads it plays 1 frame then crashes with ERR_GFX_STATE - Fresh install, tried the pipeline CMD line, tried DX12 and Vulcan, and deleted the SGA files in the settings folder. No idea what else to do.

i tend to run the game in DX12 since valkun is very buggy for me. i had this issue not long ago (last week) i also use a program called (Process Lasso) which reduces the lag spikes i hope rockstar does something quickly as this has become very annoying.

You can only connect one SC account to your steam purchase.

The first time you log-in to the game and choose an account, you're stuck with it. Only thing you can do is contact the R* Support and let them unlink it so you can do it anew I believe.

You gotta unlock moonshiner, buy the property (25 gold) and then you use the tickets and you lvl up, and you won’t have to pay for a distillery upgrade. I don’t know 100% yet because I don’t have it, but I’m close, and apparently that’s how you do it

@desert ravine Yo, I had an issue with that too. I bypassed it by going to the back, go to first person, sprint and climb the sacs, then you should be able to break in through the back door. Controls are fucky but it’s possible to get the card on the window inside.

Bounty hunter missions are good for gold i have heard. Is this correct. More so than the trader? I want money but i have collector and thats a great sorce of money for now. Would it be worth getting bounty for gold so it won't take like to build 15 gold for trader. As i want to have all of them in the fastest amout of time ??

Not sure if a "Straight off the train" is allowed to answer this but personally I think revolvers are better because pistol ammo is hard to find and iirc has a higher price then most and you also cant carry as much ammo as you can with a revolver. But imo I think the volcanic is the best because the accuracy, damage, and maybe range are very good and they are quite cheap compared to others.

I personally use the schofield. Granted because I flex the variant, but I’ve heard that the navy is slightly stronger and slight longer reload. The volcanic, used in story mode, was my preference tho

A small posse is 4 and a large one is 7 - that’s online at once. More people can join and be offline but there is a total limit. If you have too many persistent members, you’ll have to remove some offline ones for new people to join when online. Does that make sense? @pallid rose

Defensive mode only helps a little, it keeps them from auto aiming at you but they can still free aim at you, it keeps them from getting critical shots but they can still kill you

One is bounty hunting, then there's collecting and selling pelts, making moonshine and selling it and collecting rare items scattered throughout the map that you can sell for good money.

I have purchased ammo for both the pistol and the carbine but I cannot figure out how to reload the carbine. I can't buy anymore ammo for it as it says I have 200 rounds. @flint slate You will get pamphlets in your satchel. Read them and it’ll have a little check mark by it after, that means it’s applied. This goes for tricks and other stuff you unlock with ranking up in your roles.

I found an article with a video where modders will drain other peoples money and it looks like your camp and stable fees just going without stopping and that’s all I can find.

All I can recommend is rebooting the game. I’m not sure why it’s happening in multiple sessions for you. I’m sad that I don’t play PC cuz I’d help you make it back

The money being taken thing by modders is sadly something that happens a lot but the only way to be really save from that is basically never going afk and immidently changin session when you get the notif
Also never open treasure chests that just randomly stand around that's what some modders do to get innocent people banned because instead of banning the one who placed it you get banned

Ive had modders offer me chest or dump animals in front of me to skin.. that are not in the Online version.. i dont touch any of that stuff unless its something i hunt myself or is part of a treasure map or mission. ive heard the ban stories.. its sad.
