i reckon its where you're based geographically, and that influences the regional players that enter the same session as you.

obviously if you're from East Asia, you'll get a higher number of Chinese players compared to West US or EU.

Any tips for increasing framerate? I've got running a I7-7700HQ GTX 1050TI laptop with 16GB of RAM. I'm using 1920x1080 with resolution scaled down as little as possible, something like 0.973. I play on around 40-45 fps, sometimes down to 30. Sometimes up to 50.

My video settings are quite medium, with the exception of textures on Ultra. I've been searching about Google for some tips, but I thought to hit you guys up, in-case you had any tips or settings that have an impact with framerate, but quite not so much with the video quality.

Actually its not just me, I've tried it on both of my systems and I have 3 other friends with the same issue. Its not game breaking no, But it is irritating when you are trying to Kill yourself for one reason or another and the game just crashes.

Resolution scaling has came to my rescue, as I set the scaling down to x0.900 and fiddled around with TAA and FXAA there on the background, I've reached something around 42-51 as an average for my fps.

Depends on what card you’re using. I had some troubles with Vulcan on a Nvidia card so I switched to DX12. No issues for me since.

It's not almost it is actually unlimited with that combo

Calming the horse with it reduces much more stamina than you lose even while holding down the sprint button

My game character has been banned from playing for 30 days no warnings, because I looted a treasure chest that was beside a road in Baou NWA. I thought it was a legitimate secret surprise chest from Rockstar that was meant to be looted. Rockstar have also taken everything that I worked so hard to earn with my character as well and set my account back to zero. There was no warning that this treasure chest was an exploit and I have no recourse to remedy this, it's not my fault this treasure chest appeared in the game, it looked like a true game treasure chest. Please is there any way I can have my game assets recovered, I am willing to pay for the gold that I innocently looted from this chest. purposely failing missions by blowing up wagons with other wagons for example is a form of greifing

Online is more a grind fest but good fun if you have freinds to play with , if you prefer to do things on your own there is still lots of things to do. however the online isn't cheap like single player. .. costs and inflation are massive so be awear you will need to ensure you have a stable source of income. @calm chasm

Newbies are advised to do the online story and maybe start looking into a role (Pursuit) when they can for income. its not hard but it can be long winded and requires a level of dedication to really reap the rewards.

Not going to lie my guy ... files don't just appear over night they're your files and have to be placed there yourself if there was any level of tampering

Your best plan now is to clean wipe your RDR2 .. then once done find its file in your PC and delete all the residual files left over then reinstall it.

Even if you don't know how they're on your PC they will ban you regardless it is in their Ts&Cs

so here's an interesting bug, I've built up my collection to have almost 10 of everything, coins i always sell a set then start doing the run. No issues all around except the 1792 quarter acts as if I have 10, the detector will go crazy but no option to dig it up.

the game thinks the liberty quarter and the 1792 quarter are the same item inventory-wise

so if you have 10 liberty quarters you can't pick up the 1792 quarter

it's ok the other way around

sell a liberty quarter, then in the future, always make sure you pick up 1792 before liberty

So I’ve been playing red dead for a while and I’m wondering is there any like actual PVE modes or missions like survival in GTA online I know that precede doesn’t exist in red dead online but is there any mission where it’s more PVE focused where you can go in battle NPC‘s because generally when I play takeover series and the PVP modes aren’t available or just don’t have anyone

There is no PVE game mode I'm aware of but RDR 2 online is technically just a giant PVE but there is no specific game mode that really pushes the player to do anything PVE like an example is the gangs you might encounter(like the Del Lobos) but that isn't necessary.you might not encounter them sometimes.

It usually depends on whether or not you start off without a camp and try to spawn one in, or whether it shows you have a camp yet there’s nothing there.

The issue with camps spawning has been around for a bit, but it’s definitely the most annoying one.

Sure wish I could get a fancy wagon. I saw one of the daily challenges was to take a ride for a certain distance inside a wagon, but npcs won’t let you hide out in there.

I wish you could see out in the single player stagecoaches with an option to skip. At least one can ride the train if one buys a ticket, gets to the destination and just stays on.

The only first hand account I have of riding in a wagon similar to what we see is the queen who rode in a golden one to Westminster Abbey. She said it was incredibly uncomfortable and slow. The horses could only move at a walking pace because the thing was gold not wood.
