I was playing RDR 2 Online since the PC launch with no issues what so ever but today the game magically stopped working with this "Red Dead Redemption 2 Exited Unexpectedly". Tried BIOS updates, Windows, Drivers up-to-date and wiped clean. Nothing seems to help 😮

As a PC RDR2 player you should go to controller options, set it to FREEAIM that way you are in FREEAIM lobby and don't have to put up with controller users at all

You cannot change the setting online, you have to change it in single player, go to CONTROLLER setting, change it to FREEAIM, then go online (don't change the setting in mouse+keyboard even though that's what you're actually using)
