So I'm conducting a test in leveling bonding, which is faster: a leading macro (i.e. your character leads your horse in a circle for hours) versus a brushing macro (brush horsie forever).
And so far. . . Brush horsie wins. And doesn't need a 3rd party program or an expensive keyboard. Just a dollar store water bird, a piece of tape, and some clever placement of the keyboard.

Rockstar went for a somewhat full cowboy simulator they WANT you to take your time with. They award you with better rewards at a 30 second mark in online, you don't think that was intentional? They want you fully immersed, looking for your horses balls to shrink in the cold saying wow all the time. They didn't take the 12 year old "gimme guns so I can kill players" attitude in mind when they set up volumetric mud and snow for players to draw dicks in. . . .
Its about an experience rather than the grind, sit back, relax, enjoy the time thats what they want from you.
And they've done a damn good job so far at just that.

No. After a few weeks, u get 0.5 per daily, and if u complete the 7 general set, u get a bonus of 1.5, same for the role dailies.
So you can make 10 or 11 a day if u wanna invest the time. It's super easy

The daily activity payouts increase, after every week you keep your streak going. (Meaning, as long as you do 1 daily challenge per day, your streak is active). After 3 weeks of an active streak, each daily challenge pays 0.5 gold bars.
If you complete 7 of 7 daily challenges, you get a bonus of another 1.5 gold bars.

You can also pick up treasure maps by looting bodies, as rewards for achieving certain ranks, and sometimes by completing hidouts (off gang leaders body).

Also I've known players who are rank 400 and don't know about keeping their weight and horse's weight up or down. In game hit escape and go to player and look at both the horsie and your player name and it will tell you yours and your horses conditions, weights, core info blah blah blah. Important for gameplay.

For instance, I was doing some collecting, and this guy bursts in with a shotgun and I'm standing in a room to one side of the door and I see him training his shotgun on the door.
