the most optimal way to play bounty hunter is by receiving $225 every 1 hour and 18 minutes

48 minutes its the time it takes for a legendary bounty to become available again

30 minutes is the time it takes for the payout to max

because theres a timer that runs in the game that doesnt stop until 30 minutes has passed

after 30 minutes has passed that timer understands its reached maximum time and gives the player more money because its reached max time (30 minutes)

the other things that contribute to more payout is dead or alive, 5-1 star and base payouts

there are 3 legendary bounties that have the best base payout

etta doyle, red ben clempson and tobin winfield

tobin winfield is the worst in terms of difficulty, red ben is definitely doable and i can do him first try most of the time but is still difficult, etta is very easy

theres a set strategy you can use for etta that allows you to not fire a single bullet

after this realisation her and her gang will proceed to run away

and keep running

regardless of what you do

meaning, if you hide until this time comes

wait for her to realise its a trap

and then tackle and hogtie her you can get away with basically the entire bounty

now that you have etta you call your horse, put her on your horse, open the catalogue and do whatever the hell you want for the next 25 minutes or so

i said open the catalogue because that doesnt make you get kicked for idling during a bounty mission

and i said 25 minutes because roughly on the timer that you put on your phone or laptop or wherever there should usually be 25 minutes left in the mission

so, yeah, you now have your bounty and just need to wait for the timer

thats the timer explained

so 5 star

if you havent got etta doyle to 5 star you need to, it just requires you to do her bounty 4 times and then you unlock the 5 star difficulty

the main difference is that you die to 3-4 shots from a litchfield repeater from 5 star as opposed to the lower difficulties

the mission will end if you kill her because Leviticus Cornwall

so yea, it just forcefully does that

if you didnt get any of that heres a really quick simplification

-wait for 30 minutes before taking her in using what i said earlier
-have it be 5 star
-dont kill her
-remember that no other bounty is worth it
