@upper sparrow you may have to log off and back on... sometimes the dig spots are glitched. Or just walk around the spot a bit more until the Dig command prompts you

Also to get the bigger fish use the lures 🙂 Sometimes reeling will attract them too but if you use the dead eye and see where the fish are grouping up that works really well to aim for those spots. If not getting bites in one area move to another and give it a go

I'm on steam and this update really fixed my issue.
I was facing frequent disconnection issue with Error:0x20010006, contacted support and tried several steps from disabling av/firewall to changing dns. At a point Rockstars blamed my connection, and I started believing that, I thought it's my connection.
But after last evening's patch, not a single disconnection.
Now I'm so happy that Rockstar finally fixed my issue but at the same time I hate their support for blaming my connection.

Yesterday one of my challenge wasn't completing. "Complete 0/1 medium $$ bounty"
I did half dozens of them but still didn't completed. I tried restarting the game and tried again still wasn't completing.
So, contacted Rockstar and told about the issue.
Today they replied me that they weren't able to find the logs however for one time accomodation they added 300rdo$ and 5 gold bar.
Now I guess I have to shut my mouth and stop complaining till it gets paid off.
They were supposed to add .20 gold + .60 for completing role goals. (.20 my streak was broken due to 2 days power outage)
