Everytime I play I either get flanked, overran or accidentally killing the bounty

It’s tough, but I always go in with tonics and stay inside the carriages as much as possible, the riders can’t hit you that way. To avoid killing the target, I like to tackle enemies that I’m not sure about with lasso in hand and leave them inside a carriage. Normally takes a few tries but you’ll get it eventually @mortal olive

hows this idea for horse personalities.

Every horse you get starts out with its base temperament against gunfire and predators (obviously war horses start out with better stats and race horse worse), but the more you encounter your horse with said threats the better the temperament gets for each of the said threats

Say if you encounter lots of wolves in your travels your horse gets more and more used to not being so spooked by them and even in rare cases kick at them itself.
Same goes for alligators and cougars.

meanwhile gunfire that doesn't hit your horse will count towards the temperament that keeps your horse calm during shootouts.

put this in rdo chat because it's more of an online thing because of the randomised temperament.

5 stars red ben.. use eagle eye (turning on deadeye with no weapon drawn) to identify them.. they'll glow red, kill the other nearby guards near the targets and punch them using your lasso to immediately hogtie them, as for the other guards.. kill em all, but slow and steady ability card is really useful here.. and a lot of tonics ofc, if you deliver all the targets alive you get more than $200, enough to pay them tonics you used!

also stop that train by killing the driver and push the brake and stay inside the train for cover and kill all those raiders that come as reinforcement, they'll stop coming eventually and this is when you can deliver the targets peacefully, sometimes!

oh also if you are comfortable using first person camera, fighting inside the train will be much easier.. and check inside those carriages, on top of the boxes you can get some moonshine, potent health cure and opened miracle tonic for free
