@glacial jetty If you haven’t already I’d suggest getting the Bolt Action. It’s more efficient for hunting, especially with Lock On aiming as you can kill up to 5 medium animals with it cleanly. And it’s also a solid choice for killing enemies as it is accurate and deals a good amount of damage.

Rolling Block is powerful but shoots very slowly. It takes just over 2 full seconds to shoot and reload it’s next shot.

If you want a longer range rifle that is easier to use, especially for hunting and PvE you could get the Carcano when it becomes available. It isn’t as cumbersome as the Rolling Block, and animals and most AI found in freeroam can be killed with one shot by it in their torso regions. You could even tack on the Sharpshooter ability card to give yourself some more damage when looking through the scope to guarantee that one hit kill status on such things.

Yeah. Basically a Rifle, Varmint Rifle, and Repeater will cover everything that matters. A Bow can sometimes get Rifle animals cleanly but I’ve had mixed results. Slugs from a shotgun also work instead of a rifle on everything I’ve tested so far, like deer and pronghorn. It’ll kill them cleanly too. Varmint for rabbits, raccoons and the like.

There are some things that need Small Game Arrows for the bow, but it’s like some birds, snakes and rats and stuff like that— generally stuff you wouldn’t prioritize

I think a role where you have to supply a painter with colours by collecting plants, Keep the colour stockpiles up and the painter will ofcourse make artwork , you're given to option to keep it or auction it off
