Got griefed yesterday. I had my metal detector out. And a player just walked up to me and started shooting. Killed me when I was unarmed. I proceeded to load explosive bullets in my bolt action. Killed him 10 times. Then started getting creative. Rope harassing. Flaming arrows and tomahawk kills. Trampling with my horse. Ect. He had a mic. And only said one word.

He killed me a total of 3 times. I'd say I killed him at least 20.

So that's how I got rank 10 Deadeye. I thanked him for giving me the experience boost.

He then left the session. Not sure if he was just bad at PvP. Or if he was actually boosting me.

Yea wagon's getting destroyed/stolen is not griefing, that's why you're doing long distance, the added risk of players being able to mess with it, and that's why they get a notification about it

If you don't want to fast travel, that is fine! If you are all about the immersive experience and making it as realistic as possible, then just run along a train and jump on it

probably, it has to do with the lobby. R* may have had issues keeping you in the same lobby when activating the Train or stage coach cutscenes, and resolved it by place fast travel posts instead that just load you into another area
