If you are on console, or really, using lock on aiming I wouldn’t fuss with Sharpshooter on anything but a sniper. Damage fall-off keeps other scoped weapons from really benefiting them when instead you can just lock on and headshot/ get locked onto by someone while trying to line up a shot.
