Anyone know how to tame a wild horse so it doesn’t run off when hunting? Or will it always bolt?

From what I can remember you can only tame horses in story mode if you bring a horse to the stable or try it will tel you to purchase it from the stables

Sure, but I see sometimes people have their stabled horse and a wild horse with them to carry an extra carcass. It’s just whenever I lasso an animal and hop off the wild horse it just bolts with my carcass on it.

you can do that but the way i’d do it is kill one animal, put it in my horse, find another horse and tame it, kill 2 other animals, put one animal on the random horse and drag the second

that way you can get 3 animals, i’d assume you only do that if you don’t have the hunting wagon

arabians are pretty good once you get there. they gave away free andalusians ages ago so I think i have 5 horses now. If you want a higher horse then hungarian halfbred or andalusian seem to be the way to go

and then a breton and called him Nugget since my before friend got a breton too and called her Chicken so we matched

to each their own with horses. I've got andalusian, hungariand halfbred, criollo, norfolk roadster, arabian and the starter horse. All at level 4 but I swear they have unique temperaments since my arabian can take wolf/bear/croc attacks but my roadster and criollo run at the sight of them in the distance xD
