So legendary bounties. I just started bounty hunter and see there's a list of them all marked 1 of 5 stars. I'm assuming each time you repeat one that's the level of difficulty and it gets harder each time? Are they something you can do right away or should i wait for those until i have the reinforced lasso or something like that?
Difficulty scaling with the trader role is pretty cut and dry, buy a bigger wagon. But i can't seem to see where the progression is for the bh role

@nocturne flame @errant forge yea posse elimitation. wasn't expecting that at all. I had to check the players list to be sure they were not ''fake'' players controlled by the AI for the mission. My targets were 3 new players, below level 10 who were on the rooftops of blackwater. Probably killing npcs or whatnot. Was easy to complete tho. 1 hit kill for each of them. I even stayed there to farm them a lil bit after the mission 🙂

I had a new bug last night. Twice in a row, i log on in camp step out to hunt, find a perfect sheep and start to carry it back to camp. Get back to camp and its marked on the map but nothing is there just empty space. I didn't even get far enough away for camp to despawn and not be rendered. Twice in a row, because i logged out and back into my camp and went hunting again only for camp to disappear again.

For some reason, they chose not to destroy my wagon and my parley protected me from them until I could deliver it

Between the 4 roles, story missions, and freeroam content, there's actually a good bit to do. But i do believe pvp to be core in its structure, both in series and in freeroam. Just seems to have attracted a community less interested in pvp, aside from your typical basic troll types
Killing people for no reason seems to be most people's definition of freeroam pvp in rdo

The missions are the only part about it I actually like since it’s fun killing AI and generally fucking shit up for money and xp
Which is insane because I’m supposed to be a moonshiner, not a glorified hitman with an alcohol problem

Heartlands have very good spawns since even with the animal spawn problems
If all else fails you can even go to emerald ranch and kill sheep if you want 80% of the time

Truth be told i genuinely believe it's that the vast majority of players don't seem to know or understand that animals actually have somewhat realistic spawn cycles. Leaving dusk and dawn times as the best time to be hunting, just like real life. Don't head out looking for animals in the middle of the day, you won't find much. Head out around 7pm and go until its day again

Easier is debatable, you shoot them, they spawn 15 feet in front of you with the weird spawn ghosting and can still shoot you.

I've started doing stranger missions recently (something I really neglected cause the pay sucks) but damn these missions are pretty fun so far. More diverse than the roles stuff.

prime example of how roles are unfun and boring as fuck. trader. you go around hunting and lugging animals back to your camp to convert into goods to sell. so you have to actually find an animal which sometimes is easier said than done, then bring only one back on your horse. then you need to steal supply tools every now and then. then after all that you gotta drive the goods across the map praying you dont get robbed by a player
all for like $200 which i could get by doing a legendary bounty and a few standard ones in half the time it takes to do all this shit as a trader

I enjoyed levelling trader 0-20 but I did it a while ago when there were animals on the map. Hiunting was fun imo. Nowadays you'd have to find a solo session to progress I think.

i've heard people say they start a legendary bounty and they turn off matchmaking right after to stay in a solo lobby even after they complete the bounty. Haven't tried this trick tho
