you get a lot of xp for picking up items and you get a lot more for selling complete sets

if you don’t want to focus on getting all the sets and just want to passively increase xp, i suggest getting to collector role 5, buying the metal detector, and riding around objectives holding it out

for example if you have bounty hunter and collector role, while doing bounties you can pull out the detector while riding to them

so let me tell you how it happens to me, i want to cook big game meat, i sit down by the camp fire, select minty big game meat, the menu disappears but my character is still just kneeling by the fire, everything else is normal, i can hold X (PS4) to cook faster but nothing is happening, then after a couple of seconds my character pulls out the meat and the cook bar shoots up really fast
