They get paid when you do deliveries and get xp when you do resupply's etc
Leveling can be done by leeching easily but they'd have to upgrade their own camp with their money, but yea. If you're offline the posse does not exist, if its a persistant posse they can rejoin once you reformed it but not if you're offline

hmm... but only a part of the money i get. personally i wouldn´t find any good reason to convince someone to join my posse instead of playing solo, besides that i´m awesome :P

Solo gets boring quick, I love playing with friends and usually if you do deliveries and feel safer with people helping out, you can check the #deliveries-pc channel and ping the role, there's usually people eager to join deliveries especially

i got it at rank 10

now im about 25

but i think sadles give more stats

so it doesnt really matter

like the fastest horse isnt that much faster than the slowest one

and stamina can be easily mitigated by sadles and stirs
