there was a person in this discord, was new to the game, looking for someone to help her get into things.. so i showed her a bit of this and that, and took her for one bounty mission to give her an introduction.. i was feeling confident, and of course had to do my utmost to impress the female specimen, as all men do, so i picked a 4 man bounty.. with just the two of us. and of course the damn thing sent us up the mountain..

2 of the targets ran away.. my bounty wagon rolled down the hill and crashed.. the other 2 targets died.. this was after we both sliding up and down about 300 times and eventually we ran out of time because of the absolute nightmareish terrain.

so, not the best first impression i guess. certainly failed at my impression as a veteran player who knows what he's doing.

have you noticed when you hunt, no matter where.... there is alway THAT one npc who is travelling nearby and scares the animals. It's like in the movie the truman show... the npc always travel at regular intervals, using the same path etc. lol

Yeah.
If you stand too close to an NPC, he will get mad and shoot you (eventually).
If you crash into a pair of riders, one of them will just start shooting.

there's a very good explanation for why "time flies" as you get older. its because the human brain is exceptional at filtering out and throwing away useless information. so when you get older, life tends to have more routine and a lot of days are just like the next one and so on.. the brain will simply not store the memory of that day as it is useless. so when you think back, you have no memory because its all a blur of identical days.. and thus.. life feels short
