thats the idea yes, you find the collector each day, buy some maps from her, and find the collectables, eventually you'd find enough parts and pieces for a whole collection, then sell them to her.

but as @viscid topaz mentioned, there is an online map, that lists locations for all the collectables. you can use that instead of buying maps from madam nazar.

the best animals to give are panthers, cougars, whitetail buck , in that order from greatest to least

of course you hardly come across cougars much less panthers but bucks do give a lot of materials for a perfect carcass
