would you like some meaningful advice, @flat crag ?
once you get level 10 trader and buy large transport wagon, dont force your trades. its really not worth it. just keep it stocked, gain exp from deliveries and supply missions very quickly - especially if you are in a bigger group that is taking turns on delivering their wagon. you'll be 20 in no-time.
trader is like 90% passive. really recomend that you focus on grinding bounties in the downtime, since bounty hunter is the slowest leveling by far. we found that doing bounty with 2-3 man is the most effective for exp. more than 4 gives u a massive exp penalty so its not that worth

Hey guys. I’ve just been disconnected half way through a maximum distant delivery worth around $500. Go back to camp and the materials are back at empty. Anyone else had this happen? Feel about done with the game after that.

it's been like this for a month or two
your only option for getting reimbursed is to contact R* support
it used to be that a disconnect mid-delivery would result in your goods going back to 100
but people found a way to exploit that
by purposefully disconnecting and re cliaming the goods, while their posse members actually got paid as if the delivery had been completed
so R* panicked and ruined Trader for literally everybody in an attempt to stop the exploiters

It wouldn't even have to be "better", I just would love to be able to get a different looking one (say one unlocks after killing 500 animals with a bow) which would then maybe have a little extra thing to help with aiming (in first person, just for aesthetics in third person), and maybe something to make it look different. Maybe let people choose the wood-type used (as they let us with repeaters/rifles), it'd just make the bow feel more personal. Besides, nothing is more fun than destroying a griefer thats using anything in their arsenal with only a bow and a tomahawk
Throwables and archery is just so damned satisfying. I always carry my bow on me, even if I know I'm gonna have to fight tons of enemies :>

i grab 3x 3* bucks and a couple of 3* mediums every trip without using the wagon. just get an NPC horse or tame a wild one. put a perfect carcass on each and lasso drag the 3rd. also throw 2x 3* mediums (large bird or badger, etc) on your horse real too. you can't whistle the 2nd horse so always ride that one and whistle your real horse to follow you. the rest of the stuff that i kill while looking for 3* animals just gets skinned and stowed. this will let you fill the materials (or make bank at the butcher) really fast without bothering with the wagon.

best thing you can do is order a TON of ammo from catalog... like at least a few hundred of each bare minimum... then all you have to do is go to your camp or a post office and grab your delivery... u will only take as much ammo as you have used since your last visit. the rest is stored in the lockbox or post office box forever... each visit will just fill you to max and save the rest
