Nope. There are no dedicated servers, that's just something you have to deal with. Your best bet is to go into defensive mode.

Left on the D-pad, scroll down to online options, toggle from offensive to defensive. What it does is it removes another player's ability to lock on to you with auto-aim, and reduces the damage you get from being shot by another player three fold.

That's 18 rounds dude lol and if that doesn't do it for you, yes they have a shotgun shell that can be use so it makes the revolver pretty insane at close quarters.
In the settings you can change it so as soon as you run out of rounds it'll automatically switch to shells.

@tired oar well thats gonna depend a lot on what you like to do, and what you're good at as well. There's for sure a bunch of different opinions as to whats the easiest or fastest way to get Cash or Gold.
Since the new update my favourite way has been to spend most of my time chasing the various Daily Challenges, and wherever they take me, I look for any and all collectables for Madam Nazar, I have an excellent cheat sheet (if it's not against our discords rules to post a link to it, someone advise, please and If not I'll edit it in, or you can DM me and I'd be happy to help, PS. Anyways at that same time I'm scouting for perfect carcasses/pelts (sometimes not so perfect ones as well, I just fill up my horse or wagon and fast travel back to camp). In some areas of the map while I'm hunting for that stuff, I'll also be on the lookout for Birds with expensive feathers/plumes, which requires a trip to the butcher this time. Before the update I used to do a lot of fishing, there's a few great spots I know of, if you want more info let me know..
As for more Gold @slow turtle along with the Daily Challenges and keeping the streak going, an easy way for me has been to try to complete all of the Awards (you can find the list in the pause menu under Progress) each gold buckle awards you 0.4 Gold Bars, and some of them take just a couple minutes. Of course most of those quick ones can only be used once, others up to 10 times. So I'm always switching up the way I play to try and finish as many awards as possible. Just something to keep in mind as you go on your journey. Other than that, I think it's just being good at Showdowns and Bounty Hunting that rewards well) Stranger missions as was just mentioned).

@livid aspen in most missions with timers you want to hand in with 00:29sec left on the clock, or lower. some missions give max payout at 2:59 and 4:59 but 00:29 is what you typically do unless you've got that obscure infographic with the specific ideal hand-in times.

@boreal fog Warden's right when you complete it to lvl 70 you get the rest of your refund of gold back, you also have until Nov 18 to level up to it if you aren't already. Btw it took me way less time than I thought to get to 70 and I was starting at around lvl 25. Just check your standard W,R & Co Club level (which will be the pass lvl) to see if you think you have time. You also get 650$, Treasure Map, Free Character Customization voucher and 2 Mystery vouchers for something coming up, amongst other things..

You can only carry 10 of a certain card so at some point if you're still collecting all the time it makes sense to sell a few off if you're gonna grab it again, every day at 8pm EST the location changes, but there's only 3 possible locations, so they call it Day 1, 2, and 3. After 3 it goes back to 1...so if u found a card on what is day 1 come back next day 1 find it again

Cripps is constantly packing it up for one reason or another and he either puts it somewhere for you automatically sometimes , or you request a location from him.. Depending on the server camps tend to get bugged. Seems like the more people you have the more problems with camps and animals spawning properly. Sometimes jumping a few servers will fix it, or if you start a stranger mission, set camp, wait out the timer and it should be pitched.
When camp vanishes again I find it’s because I got merged into another server.

I typically hit up ps4 lfg channel here when I got a large ready for delivery. So far I've had nothing but positive experiences.
The last time 3 guys in a premade posse joined and were talking the whole time about how they joined some open posse and ruined it not long before.. was getting nervous and had my explosives loaded but they never pulled anything and even invited me to join them in their deliveries when mine was done :p
In fact I have another large ready to go so will be asking soon haha. But not tonight, no playtime. It's my only real social activity with my limited playtime, so far it's been an enjoyable 15 min each run.

slippery went from no autoaiming on the guy to now semi-auto aiming
slow and steady nerfed but with other defense cards you can eat explosive shots like fuckin iron milk duds
so its either pure tanks or pure dps if they arent low levels just trying out new cards
chances are the dps cards wont be nerfed as much as the defensive ones because "ree i cant one shot with explosives" so invest in the gunslinger and sharpshooter cards

I use Lancaster for larger groups of NPC enemies, simply because of speed and well, headshot is headshot.
For hunting and decent range PvP I'd recommend Bolt Action.
