Just found out that just like the wagon, pelts and animals will stay on horses when you make them flee and will be on the horse still when you call them back. Idk if this has been a feature but I remember last time trying this it would knock the pelts off, so you could fill a wagon, stack a horse with 3 pelts and 3 animals, and then steal a horse and bring back a little extra to your camp
