The only thing I can recommend is to try to play wired instead of over Wi-Fi. If you are or it's not feasible/possible then there's not much else to do

In lieu of new things to do, I've been giving weapons I don't normally use a try.
The rare shotgun and bow are the only two weapons I've noted so far where the Accuracy stat, not the Reload stat, are the familiarity stats that get boosted.

#

I know that after 200 enemy kills or so, Familiarity gets maxed but it feels like 500 with the Rare Shotgun.
There isn't anyway to track individual stats for guns, is there? Would be nice to know how many shots fired, kills and headshots made with a weapon of choice.

But its always: go from point a to point b. If no animal spawns, go back to point a, then return back and voila. Basic af.

Its rarely a factor.

Fishing is the same basic shit. Stand near one of three water- body types. Pull out bait with same water-body type name on it and catch fish.

U can reel slow or fast, same shit. U can cast 50 feey away or 2 feey away and reel in 20 lb fish in 1 second. Basic

Yeah rockstar nerded hunting those pigs in valentine and that led the community to find the blackwater cougar, then they removed that and people found the cougar in Tumbleweed, then they nerfed carcass prices when skinned and subsequently reduced animal spawns significantly (especially when transitioning from single player)

Both tonics are of much higher quality than regular tonics, but all of them provide an additional layer/shield (in gold) for your Health, Stamina, and/or Dead Eye

For example: if you drink a Special Health Cure (Tier 3), your health will be "fortified", which means you will be able to take significantly more damage than usual before you die.
