Before you’d lose anything your horse was carrying when fast traveling if I remember right. I remember being really frustrated with that. I figured lowering the quality was some concession they made to keep things on the horse and that them staying perfect was the glitch. :p It seemed like they’d rather you travel the distance on foot or else nobody would be running into eachother out there.
