Not only is it harder for others to get the drop on you thanks to defensive mode, but you can also defend yourself properly and enjoy everything without having to be wary of every single player. Bounties are more manageable too, so you can be a good old griefing dickarooni and not have to pay so much for the fun.

Poker also seems like a half decent attempt at making saloons more active. Half decent.

But really, jokes aside, the true best thing about the update is how you can run up on anyone with a stick of dynamite and defensive mode on like an unstoppable creeper on pcp.
