Griefing = Ruining the gaming experience deliberately, Getting shot once doesn't Ruin the gaming experience, it just alters it - You can go right back to what you were doing.
When you get griefed, they'll keep on going after you so you can't even go back and enjoy what you were doing.

As much as I love the game (and I do) I think that the people saying that it's development is going to be mostly nonexistent until next-gen consoles come out are right on the money. Until then I think that what few precious updates we do get will be more of what we've already got - a few PvP modes, some cosmetics and one (1) gun per update.
