If you tackle someone with a melee weapon, it won't turn your Deadeye off. Useful if you have multiple opponents, as they'll autolock onto the victim below you if you run Slippery

You have to manually turn it off to gain some Deadeye for the kill

Just used up 20 cans of chewing tobacco and about 500 bullets taking out a three man posse lead by a dude with bomb arrows.

Good lord it was hard and annoying

Especially when they run circles around you on horses

Nigh impossible to draw a safe bead, had to use my shotgun and dynamite liberally

They all had horses, but mine took forever to get to me

So I'd often wind up having to take them on foot and without a hat

Finish the 6 story missions online, delete your character, rush through character creation, play through the six missions, repeat.
It takes about an hour to finish them all, leaving you with either $500 or $1,000- it costs money but definitely helps, if you fast travel
I think you can also do it for your friends too, but I'm not sure if they have to restart to get the full original payment, or if they'll get a fraction since they've already played through it (not sure if it goes off of player's completion, or posse leader's)

You could also do stranger missions and do the 30 second return method. Hunt while the timer counts down and return in time to turn whatever mission it gave you in

Better to do it with big numbers like a 7 man posse so you have enough hands to help if someone tries to steal. Take turns sitting on the wagon or holding bags rotating out
