But the point is the limited number of guns with lateral upgrades means that there isn’t really a “meta” weapon. Tipping the scales towards a different weapon by giving it an upgrade that’s puts it above another breaks the idea that there is a give and take between all the weapons breaks the very base idea of the weapon balance in the game
