did you guys see the blurb about the in-game camera in rdr2? i thought it was kind of interesting for photography buffs. apparently that kodak handheld camera arthur has really existed, but didn't work quite like that

My only gripe with the photo mode in RDR2 is the lack of freedom you have with the camera. Like, I get they're going for a realistic approach, and the Photomode is actually through the view of the camera itself, but that's one aspect where I think it would be MORE beneficial to drop the ultra realism and just go for a more segmented experience. Like, keep the camera as an item, but you aren't required to use it like an actual camera, you could optionally pull it out and suddenly you're whisked into a freecam and you can move around however you want to get the angle you're looking for. Could be a setting you could toggle.

Warframe's Photomode is a Photomode I get jiggy with. Absolute freedom to move however you like, and it's easy to transition back and forth from controlling the freecam to controlling the character. And the diff visual settings and ability to put it in slowmo, spawn AI, etc. Basically Director Mode.
