I'm going to weigh in on the haste vs profit discussion. I have my bottom 10 slots set up with haste. I use those slots to quickly build even numbered items and move them up to the top portion of my board, where they wait until I either build a bigger even numbered item or get a merge +1. Profit runes are useless in my bottom 10 slots because I never have anything in those slots which can generate any meaningful profit. If you work the board like this, Haste is clearly the best bang for your buck in those lower slots.

i raised the third board by 3 levels and raised the second board by 1 level but it didnt change the soul gem count
