What have people found to be the best rune layout? This is by current setup

Really hard to say.. depends on your runes, number of boards, levels, how active you are, etc.

I don't really care about 'idle' gameplay. So I maximize my rune layouts for active play.
I have an upgraded slot in top left, with 2 forge speed runes.
my bottom right is my highest level item, with two profit runes in it.
I then snake my way up from the bottom left with profit runes, until I run out of epics (or better) and switch to fortune.

Strange merge day for me. No offline earnings when I opened the app. First time that's ever happened to me.

Back to back merge boosts. Not bad. But...not the desired distribution of boosts.
