So I got this game a few days ago and I'm currently at item 28 (if that's what you call it)
I managed to save up for a lucky box and tried to figure out the most efficient way to use all the runes, I'll provide a screenshot

I was wondering what exactly the reset does and whether it's worth doing it for 54 soul gems?
Also, is upgrading a slot worth it or should I still save up my gems for lucky boxes at this stage?

Also what does 'lock auto merge' mean? I haven't noticed any difference involving merging normally, and looked for some kind of 'auto merge' setting but couldn't find one

@silver aurora if you have zero gems you should wait til you have about 100 and reset whenever it doubles. locking auto merge means the auto-merge stuff won't touch it.

auto-merge is in the purple star menu. i don't recommend using diamonds.

don't upgrade a slot until you have a couple orange profit boosters.

I use the lock merge option on the bottom row of my table and then make sure my four highest value items are in there with a fortune boost rune on each. as I get more fortune runes, I will lock the bottom two rows. To me this should get a high regular idle income and then just merge the top four rows when I play.

Also, I'm really surprised about the people complaining about the PayWall? People really don't know how to be patient or just watch ads lol PayWall wise, I'd say they have it down pat. Ads aren't forced, gems are cheap and not required for tons of progress and you can watch ads for them, and the boosts are available ad free if you choose.

If I complain about anything, it's how rare merge boost are, but it makes sense cause it's super op if you prepare for it.

Are you getting video ads or playable ads? I and a few others, seem to be having trouble with playables. I suggest doing it a few times and see if the video ones give you credit.
