Unless they're using a proprietary formula it is likely a commonly used one for idle games and easily searched for. I know most, but cannot say for sure all, of the formulas are easily found on the internet.

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but for some reason the "forged X level higher for XX seconds" has been one every time. It more of a quality of life thing, as the actual bonus is still applied at what it should be, just that the display only shows 1.

Eh.. What I mean is that when you open the enchanter,

You at first area little low on income and that increases quite fast and then soon hits a wall.

But, you can then use that money to buy a lot of upgrades in the first shop, speeding that thing up like mad.

Granted, they lose their usefulness when you're higher up and the game is faster and income is super slow.

I do think they help a lot with balancing the income between players who are very active and those who rely more on idle and try to use the boosts to the max.

Because I don't bother with those boosts, I just refresh the auto merger and the x2 gold and get 10 gems every half hour.

And if you use the boosts wisely I think you can get pretty much the same lvl increase as someone who just refreshes the auto merger.

And I like the gold boost a lot, because I only use it just after restarting and then it pretty much gives a permanent +x lvl boost.

Which seems a lot better to me than a temprorary one.
