Hi, not sure if this is the right channel to ask about the casper, snapshot, and duet exams! I'm kinda confused on the timeline of when I should take these exams if I'm applying this upcoming cycle. Also does taking these exams after you submit your primaries impact the processing/completion of your application for schools that require them?

You should take the CASPer only after you've taken the MCAT and submitted your primary application. Here's a list of schools that require the CASPer (note that even a smaller subsect require the Duet and Snapshot): https://bemoacademicconsulting.com/blog/medical-schools-that-require-casper

Ideally, you should give yourself 2-4 weeks to prepare for the CASPer.

I scored in the highest quartile for the CASPer. I recommend following the PPI+RA method I developed and have advised students on when addressing prompts on CASPer and MMIs in general (image attached). You should then apply this method on 2-4 CASPer/MMI prompts daily you find using Google and YouTube.

For school's that require the CASPer (and a minority of schools that require the Duet and Snapshot), your application will be on hold until you've submitted all required materials.
