Chat sometimes gets too busy and overwhelming and people message and just gets ignored
It's not fun and makes you just not want to bother talking because you just get ignored and your messages are just drowned with everyone else's messages

ok so basically gen 2 got voted to be archived for the foreseeable future due to the fact that channel was originally created to be used when mumbo was streaming. not removing it after these streams wasnt a problem in 2020 and even 2021 bc people still actively chatted in gen 2 enough for it to be justifiably open to you guys. however, now in 2022 gen 2 was going hours upon hours without being used by anyone, and was just taking up space that isn't needed.

A possible alternative could be to let level 10 (or whatever level mods want) spoons make threads in general chat, as a way to have other channels but not have it take up a pace for those that don’t want it

I feel like we took channels away that were hardly ever used and now that they're gone there are all of a sudden people who are heartbroken about it? I'm very confused.
How many people are actually wanting Gen 2 back? If it's only a couple of people then there's no point bringing it back as it'll continue to be an inactive chat taking up space. But if there's a decent amount of people wanting it back it's something we should talk about.

Honestly, while I do feel that it wasn't needed every second, it definitely had it's uses, and was used some for some things, Imo, justifiably enough to at least exist
