I can turn off my Windows 11 computer and turn it on just fine, and that has never been an issue. Every time I go and select reboot, it shuts down and then hangs, never even posts. I have updated the motherboard every time it gets a revision, and it has always done this, but it has never been a problem that prevents me from using my machine on a day to day basis. It does however get really annoying when software DEMANDS a reboot, instead of just a power cycle. What software requires this specifically? oh why AMD adrenaline of course! and so for whatever reason every time I update AMDs driver software it will not run until I perform whatever it thinks is a successful reboot which is frankly fucking pathetic and annoying, but whatever. I have in the past even tried a fresh install of windows, but it has never once successfully rebooted and it's just really stupid annoying when it comes up. It wastes my time, and spikes my cortisol. Any help appreciated! I am not opposed to percussive maintenance!

64gb of some ram, idk I honestly am not sure that would matter because i have upgraded the ram kit and this problem persisted through that hardware change. replaced both sticks from a 32gb kit to a 64gb kit.
