is it risky updating your Vbios? I noticed my graphics card (EVGA FTW3 3080 ti ) keeps crashing a lot, and i was wondering if it has to do anything with my Vbios. I have no clue what it does, i figure its just like BIOS but for my gpu. I need it to stop crashing.
I have a ryzen 7 5800x and a 850 Corsair RM powersupply so that shouldnt be the issue
it also keeps saying my drivers are outdated or that it crashed because of it. ive reinstalled it mutliple times and updated it. even went as far as a couple clean windows installs

I just reinstalled it to the right vbios. appereantly it was for another card ( i didnt touch it evga did that).
as i typed its fixed, it crashed again. what can be the problem?
