you'll probably have to update the BIOS on your mobo, and if it were me I'd try to find a 5700X or a 5800X if its within budget.

i can go up to 1k with the budget but its more the convenience of not having to upgrade the mobo and and case which is holding me back from just getting an all out new system

slightly over 1k gbp tbf, budgets less of the concern for now

alternatively thinking of 7900 xtx + 5800x3d + upgrading ram, should come to around 1.2k GBP

Anyone got any thoughts? I'm on the standard amd cooler but might need an AIO or is it enough
