title says it all, really.
My pc completely lags whenever i alt tab out of a game for the first time after i run it.
I cant do anything on my computer, cant search things nor can i run different things, whenever i try to alt tab back my windows dont even show up, etc etc.
Any ideas? thanks in advance.

Depends on games. It’s normally moving from game API (DX/vulcan etc.) to direct draw on windows that causes this.
Windowed mode can reduce this but as your PC will run Direct Draw for windows and your API there can be, depending on the game, minimal to noticeable performance impact

It's older, but it was so sudden. It seems to happen with south park the stick of truth
Now, I've finished this game like 5 times in my life on the same computer. All of a sudden it doesn't react well anymore
