Hello, I’m trying to get my Internet to work via a 2.5G nic
Same supermicro X9DRI-LNF4+
The card is in cpu1 lanes
I’m in my debian nvme (woohoo) with the clover bootloader
For Ethernet ports I have the nic and 4 onboard 1G and the 100M IPMI port
I tried all internet ports and none work
The IPMI port works and Internet doesn’t
If I switch the Internet cable and IPMI cable, the IPMI still works and Internet doesn’t
In debian, the computer reports that it sees all 5 Internet ports, and all drivers exist and are loaded
My ip, subnet, and gateway are all configured properly via IPMI web ui
Main confusion: before when I was troubleshooting the nvme issue, I was in a live debian install, and internet fully worked then
There are no lights lit on any Ethernet ports except for the IPMI port

Any ideas welcomed !!

I fixed it
I just had to manually bring the device online
I believe it was bc the already configured debian i was using tried to call upon a different numbered enpXns0 and didn’t bother to try different ones
