Bought an MSI x99s brand new unopened in box for 50 bucks. Let me stress again that this is unopened and unmodified so it's completely original. I've got an i7 6850k that I got from eBay for 50 bucks. I bought a used kraken 120 water cooler from eBay for $37.
Guess what the mounting doesn't fit and the back plate isn't removable. Proprietary BS. So of course it's impossible to find mounting screws for this water cooler. Nothing matches perfectly. Apparently it needs an m4 screw and the only thing that I can find is M3.
#6-32 actually fits into the mounting holes.... Like I said, proprietary nonsense. I can't get a hold of anybody from micro center and the closest one is 2 hours away. Amazon and Newegg keeps trying to feed me everything but what I'm looking for and I'm about to throw my phone against the wall.
Anybody have any recommendations because this is driving me mad
