so i got a VGA 1080p monitor. it can do 1080p, but it only does 1600x900 for some reason. screen blacks out when i choose 1080p, menu inaccessible. intel 11th gen laptop, Acer x203H.

It cant go higher than the recommended res!

reccomended does not mean best

if i pick reccomended then the screen not filled to the edges

i bet ur cable or port is bad

it does support 1080p, ive seen it in 1080p before when i mirrored the screen

it only happened once though, so i think it's just the cable that's bad

also, is there any way i can lower the scale below 100%
