hi all, i need some help...

i have an
intel i7 8th Gen 8700K and a
Asus Z390-E Strix motherboard.
GSkill 64 GB ram
Corsair AIO
all Fans working, got 3 chasis fan connected to CPU_Fan2, AIO connected to AIO_PUMP, 1 of the AIO fan connected to CPU_FAN1
2 SATA SSDs connected.
i have Corsair HX1200i power supply
corsair 4000d case. which is fully open.
no overclocking done. running on defaults.

i am facing high Cpu temps right off the bat 70C to 95C .. it does not even let me get past the bios.
i have re-installed everything twice already.
flashed my bios.
removed all the unwanted things and kept it bare minimum.
used Arctic M4 thermal paste. made sure there is no plastic shield or anything obstructing between the AIO and CPU
no burning or damage whatsoever on motherboard or cpu.

unable to find the root cause..

please help

just noticed AIO fan speed is not detected in the bios.
CPU_Fan1 and CPU_Fan2 are only detected..
what am i doing wrong?

  1. What is the ambient temperature?
  2. Did you apply thermal paste correctly?
  3. Are your fans PWM (4 pin) or DC (3 pin)?
