#Upgrading from a 1660 Super; 3060 or 4060?

I would choose the 4060 8gb. My friend has one and my other friend has the 3060 and 8gb or 12gb i dont remember but the 4060 beats it
Its better but takes more power than the rtx
The 7600XT I think offers better price to performance but the 4060 offers better performance, even though it has half the vram of the 7600xt
Yeah the rtx is limited with the vram
3060 from my experience is decent at 1440p performance. I believe the rasterized performance will be better than the 4060 due to the memory difference, but you might get higher FPS using Frame Gen
If you want to play high graphics then you want 1080p. With a 3060 and 4060 at 1440p you would probably play with medium ish settings I’m pretty sure
Is a possibility, 1080p on a 1440p monitor will look a bit weird in some places just letting you know, but wouldn’t be something that’s too distracting
If the games support DLSS that may also improve it as it can upscale to 1440p though
i wouldn't consider one unless it's really cheap
a 7700xt would probably be better
should be ok
Should be fine, though AMD do recommend 700 minimum
What price are you able to find em for again?
and thats euros yeah?
ight i'll just check in mine, I'm using GBP
okay thats around 420 here
okay yeah, def go for the 7800xt
3060 is kind of mid, I know it’s more but I’d recommend the 16GB 4060. I don’t remember the exact name though.
that card is also mid
what res are you gonna be playing at?
Unless you're raytracing, the 7800XT will pull ahead at 1440p
whats your budget?
Would you say you care more about true to life colours, or would you rather have a monitor that has better blacks?
if colours, https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/product/RktLrH/msi-g272qpf-e2-270-2560-x-1440-180-hz-monitor-g272qpf-e2
do note that the second one is curved and the first one is not
