My MacBook does not charge when it’s powered on only when it’s shut off and it charges really slowly, it randomly fixed itself last night but when it died it undid that fix, can someone help me out?

ur charging port maybe damaged and macOS detects that and prevent charging from happening while turned on but if its turned of there are charge going to the battery and nothing to actually block that flow as its turned of, u should take an inspection first then take it to the repair things
