Hi,
has anyone used a Firewire PCI-E card on a Windows 10 computer?
It fcked up mine pretty good...
When I plugged it in...
- the color profile disappeared (only the original manufacturer's color profile remained, not mine)
- lock screen wallpaper disappeared
- Wallpaper Engine errored, that it couldn't identify my displays and therefore couldn't apply my preset
After removing the card, the PC returned to its original state and everything seems to be fine. So the colour profile is back, the lock screen wallpaper too, but only after logging in and Wallpaper Engine is working.
That's fine, but I'd like the card to work as well.
I also tried to install these drivers (although in Device Manager, Windows seemed to find some drivers itself):

The Firewire card I purchased is this one:

Just to clarify, I plugged the card into the PCI-E slot (or unplugged it) only when the PC was off, with
Fast Bootturned off in thePower Scheme
Thank you
