Today my asus prime x299-deluxe ii is refusing to post
It just show on the lcd screen cpu code 00
So far I have tried:
Several gpus, and no gpu, different pcie slots
Removing all the ram but 1 I've swapped the location of it
Reseating the cpu
I have tried to use a different power supply
According to the manual code 00 is unused
And I'm not getting any red error leds
Also after around 10 seconds the code disappears and then the screen just says cpu
The matrix led still says 00

I have also tried 2 different monitors, different connector types and different cables

Honestly not sure what else there is to try

This exact configuration was working until today

You may need to update your BIOS. 00 is a CPU boot related issue

Wasn't aware that the bios could be updated withough being able to post

It appears that I should be able to use the bios flash back feature without posting

Looks like a very premium board so you should definitely have flashback

Why was this at the top of the list

i was away for some time i have now managed to try the bios flashback

the issue persists
im going to attempt different versions of the bios
