Cant split ssd in windows or gparted live | Linus Tech Tips | Page 1

I cant seem to split my windows drive into two so I can install linux. I tried to split it in windows but it only let me do 800mb. In gparted it shows up as ataraid. If anyone know what I can search for or if you can help me it would be appreciated.

linux should allow you to do that anyway during the install

It only let me fully wipe the drive on linux mint. Maybe I can try a different distro.

I disabled intel rapid storage in bios, maybe that will fix it
