Hi i got a lenovo p500 workstation for super cheep (£75 plus shipping) right now it has a 1080 and a 800w power supply. Im looking to upgrade my gpu im thinking a used 2080ti or somthing symaler. The pc hasn't got pcie gen 4 or a 10pin gpu power (i dont wanna use adapters too much). I game at 1080p but im looking at 1440 or 4k later. Buget is £200-300 i dont mind used and i live in the uk. The card would need to be smaller or the same physical size as an msi 1080. I don't care about ascetics as the case doesn't have a window.

2080ti requires 2 8 pin power connectors, so you can go for something like radeon 6800 xt, which should give you around 20% more fps, they are around the same price second hand in canada, not sure about UK

hmmm i cant seem to find one thats going to fit, are there any 3rd party brands i should look at?
