I need some help determining if I should buy a AVI splitter because I have a TV that has only 1 AVI out and I want to connect old retro consoles to it. So I used a AVI->HDMI converter and it makes the video out darker than it's supposed to be. Is there a AVI splitter that would prevent the colors from being darker?

Sorry I meant the color black on the games I play

Try adjusting your TV display settings

It's possible you have HDR enabled by default (the retro consoles wouldn't support that), which makes SDR appear darker

Though toying around with Brightness and Contrast sliders should do the trick
