#Re-applied Thermal Paste for the first time ever. Bit worried about the new idle temperature, help!

It triggers at like 60°C.
Yes.
CPU idle at 40°C is fine. I don't really care about idle temps, there are so many weird fan profiles out there.
I can check the dump files from the BSODs if you want me to though
Dump files are BSOD error logs
Ok, I'll leave a copy paste with instructions here
Go to C:\Windows\Minidump and check if you have any minidump files. If you do, go back to the Windows folder and copy the Minidump folder itself to the Downloads folder (You can use the desktop if you don't have OneDrive syncing files). Zip the copied folder and attach it to a post. Please follow the instructions to the letter as Windows doesn't like you messing with files in this location.
@cinder aspen It's a memory error. It found a page fault and ordered a BSOD. A page is a contiguous section of memory.
Memory errors don't have to mean RAM, but it's usually one of the main suspects.
It can be the page file. The page file is basically treated like extra RAM.
Which means storage
And it can be the memory controller which is in the CPU.
If the RAM is clocked really high, it could also just be that. Probably not if it worked fine for more than a month.
3200MT/s is the highest officially supported speed with that CPU.
XMP is pretty safe.
