Hello everyone

I got a question

When i play games like Valorant
My computer randomly crashes with in my opinion no good reason. I dont overclock and my 3080 ventus 3x is also not overclocked. Mymother board is a b660 with 64gig 3600 ram.
I run 10 case fans and even my storage drives are cooled the 13700 have a big block with 2 fans on it...
My case is a nzxt h9 flow
Now i am reading that 13th and 14th intel are crashing for no good reason but that are the k and kf versions..and i dont have that...

Am i still infected with the bad cpu line..

If so i am going for amd.

do you get a blue screen of death?

and yes ALL 13-14th gen cpues that have a TDP of 65W or more are confirmed to have issues (source intel)

It just freezes...but only on cpu based games ..

I also install a the bios updates. But no difference.

So there is no solution then going for amd

you can send the cpu to intel for a RMA

but you do have to wait a while for shiping and if your one of the unlucky ones intel might not replace the cpu

in short intel is pretty bad and one thing i see is people sending the cpu in for RMA then sell it on the used market to go for amd

Its to bad..

I have a 4700k running for years now...my kids are gaming on it and runs flawless

i do just love old intel some times

#

my first pc was a used one with a i5 3570k and a gtx 680 and it did just play games and i did like it

#

but since amd as been nuking them by making a upgradable platform and good gaming and performance cpues for a lot of tasks its just more worth it to go for amd for now at least

I got a 1650 in it ..i use it allot for h264 to h265...

3 mins for a movie ..and the power bill is 1/4 🤣

well if your concerned about the power bill amd is best

for now its best to get a RMA from intel and se if it helps but it might take a while as ALL 13-14th gen 65W+ TDP cpues are having issues from intel

For my game pc i dont care about the power.. because its not running 24/7

But for transcoding ..and 24/7 running i love to use my old stuff.. its running slower but thats no problem if the power bill is also much lower. And i dont need a beast for it

well for the power bill a intel n100 nas is good but its normaly cheaper to just use old stuff for total life time price

I got a Synology ds411. With 20 tb and iam not using that arm cpu ..i am saving for a new 8bay nas..but still not sure what brand to take ..

but back to the main issue, best thing to do is just get a intel RMA and you might still get issues but it might also work perfectly without any issues after the RMA but the issue can also happen again but no matter if its already broken you cant do too much

I am not going to to that...i am going for amd and give this cpu with the board to my kids...
