My grandmother has an old pc (Core i3 5th gen CPU maybe? She lives a couple hours away so I can't check.) and wants an upgrade. She asked me to come up with a either a prebuilt or a build between $300 and $500. She basically just needs a PC for web browsing (Facebook, YouTube, etc.) and extremely casual games (think Microsoft Solitaire). I was messing around on PC Part Picker and selected these parts, but I'm not really sure that they make sense, or if there's a prebuilt around the same price or less that makes more sense for her.
Built list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/KC3KjH
AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Asus Prime B450M-A II Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard
G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16
Kingston NV2 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD
Cooler Master N200 MicroATX Mini Tower Case
MSI Mag A550BN 550W 80+ Bronze PSU
Current prices bring this to about $378. I know about possibly needing to update the BIOS. This motherboard in theory can be updated without a CPU via a USB drive.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
